84 Uno 70s - I am puzzled by this.

Wipers and washers front and rear were working fine when I drove the car last time. Parked it in the garage, today the wipers and washers don't work, nor does the heater fan.

I can't see any blown fuses, seems strange to me.

Prior to this the front wiper had stopped self parking.
I was going to swop the motor out for another one, but I don't imagine that is the cause of both the wipers and washers not working.

Now I am going to hunt the Haynes for a cause but I don't hold out much hope. there.

Oops, fixed!!!

How about that, thank you for all the helpful suggestions.
Haynes was no help, wiring diagrams did not point to anything that would do this.

I should also have mentioned the digital clock was not displaying when the key was on.

Is that a clue, maybe not.

Didn't tell you what it was!!!

On the fuse block there is a copper bridge on the left side. It was loose, somehow it had worked its way out. It was pure fluke I saw it, wondered what it was touched it and it felt loose so I pushed it in, tried the wipers, all good.

Took it out, no wipers, put it in and everything is working again, digital clock is also working.

Hope this helps someone sometime.

Thanks for letting us know. My guess was 'ignition switch'. I drove an Uno once where the heater fan and wipers wouldn't work unless I turned the ignition key slightly backwards from the 'on' position (the position it found after releasing from 'start').
