Finally got a quote to repair the crash damage to my 04, rather obscene considering its just one panel that needs replacing...

However, its the most common colour in Ireland and theres bound to have been one rear-ended anywhere. I'm not intending to sell it at any stage so if the colour match is even slightly off, I don't care.

Is the front wing bolted or welded to the car? If its bolted on, I have the tools/lifting equipment to replace the damn thing myself (and as the wing is only about 90 eur off Fiat new a proper colour one from a breakers can't be much more), but if its welded on...

Its the painting thats the problem - my local dealers will sell me the wing for 76 euros including VAT, delivered to the showroom (around the corner from work) but I'm presuming its bare steel or just undercoated?

The light blue is definately the most common on Irish roads, just hope (as much as you can "hope" that someone had a write off) that someone got rear-ended or totally sideswiped the other site!

my dad replaced the wing on his panda, its held on by bolts and more than likely some sealer (especially at the bottom where it meets the sill) he took the new wing and the fuel filler flap to a repair centre to be painted and got a perfect match :)

Just back from my local breakers, only two Nuova Panda's in the entire 9 rows of Fiat/Alfa's there.

One sideswiped on the drivers side so no use (and red); the other has the wing I want but its the much darker blue. (I'm atrocious at Fiat colour names despite never having anything but a Fiat around since I was a kid...)

However, €50 for a wing before I started haggling, if I can find a respray to "about" the right colour for under a few hundred I might go get it

Second breakers yard - nice dark red Panda sitting there with the wing I wanted caved totally in on it. Ribbons of the alloy wheel sitting attached to the hub on that one too, not a nice sight.

Got and have fitted a replacement passenger window winder - I managed to rip the old one off in a feat of superhuman strength when putting the window up a while back!

I'm gutted ..I had in my favourites a company that could supply the part and do the paint as well for a nominal sum and then ship it out to the customer ..do you think I can find it :bang:

I have in the past posted the link on here but I dont fancy checking all my posts ;) I have tried the search but come up with zilch :(
