I own a fiat Brava 1.6 saloon. The outside triangular wing mirror bracket has been broken off due to a thief getting frustated.I have tried breakers in my area but no one seems bothered to help.Any suggestions where I purchase one rather than pay a main dealer. Also would a fiat Bravo bracket be compatable?

Thanks

Had the same problem last year when someone backed into my Bravo and broke the triangular mirror bracket. As far as I know, the Bravo/a and Marea mirrors are all the same. Your best bet would be to keep trying scrapyards cos you don't wanna be paying main dealer prices. I got two body coloured ones that matched my car (mine were originally black) by chance in my local yard. I do have a spare drivers side mirror, but it does have a bit of that nice white corrosion on it froma stone chip. I'm in Ireland though so probably too far away. Sorry!

Re: Re: Wing mirror fixing bracket

same thing happened to me in march ( land rover + asda car park = broken BravA mirror ) anyway, went to local scrappies and got the whole unit ( triangle and mirror from a BravO for £10, it took me about ten minutes to fit it as well, keep trying your scrappies.

The triangular black backplate is bigger on the Bravo but the rest of it will fit.

Re: Mirror

If you live anywhere near York i got a whole new electric wingmirror assembly for £47 from a small Fiat spares dealer called Harry Sagar.
