Given Microsoft's reputation, it's a brave person that installed an SP2 beta !! LOL
I know the way they work tho'. I had the XP OS before it was released as I was on the alpha & beta testing program due to my employment with Gateway Computers. I remember long nights listing everything that didn't work, and believe me, it was a
long list. It looked very pretty but was ridden with bugs. Still, when it was passed and then released they had sorted most of the stuff and I got the Pro edition and Plus! XP for next to nothing as a thank you

I do remember a day at Microsoft HQ in Reading, tucked away in a room, with a couple of geeks showing us development footage, mostly screenshots, of XP. I swear those guys had a box of Kleenex under the table, they were that excited ! And as you walked into the main building, there was a huge illuminated sign with a clock counting down the days, hours, minutes and seconds before XP was due for release. A great place to work tho'. There was a creche, video arcade, all sorts of things to make the workers happy

Slag him off all you like, but Bill knows how to treat his staff.
