Yeah, Window tints 30%/30% are fine. However! Your gonna have to check the new half tint / half mirror effect tints am sure its different half way?? Not sure you'll have to check.

Let us know your locations and i'll see how many are interested. just so I can ring my guy to get a quote.

I'm in the Lancs area. The location is about 10mins from me. So members in the surrounding areas would you get in touch just so I know numbers. I'll get you a quote for xxxx amount of members.

Smee, if you also do the same i'll compare quotes. if thats ok with you.

This is TRUE but a large % of VOSA highway patrol officers are not allowed to "pull" a vehicle over, but to conduct a roadside test.

i.e. pull = not to follow and put a vehicle over.
conduct a roadside test. The VOSA vehicle will be already at the side of the road already conducting a roadside check, and asking vehicles to pull in for that test.

No, but the police can pull you over.

Hampshire plod have their own tint testers.

the silver bits let alot less light through. smee or wimmy will tell you. almost certain to fail if that part of the window is tested...

Yeah but i think they should test where you would look through the window, i.e the upper half anyway

But you look through that bit to see in your mirrors ;)

The thing that is always overlooked when discussing tints is that manufacturers already put varying levels of tint on the glass at manufacture. When you add to this with film the level is that of the film + the level already on the glass.. the only way to tell the level of tint is to tint it and then test it with a meter.

who's got a meter handy. LOL

Wheres Sy_B he's a police officer, see if he can borrow one from work.
