dont suppose you could give me a breif description of how you fitted your spoiler, im going to try my luck and buy the top milano one from fastfiat next fri, after emailing them they sed it would come with the feet to be glued to the window.

just wondered what was stuck down 1st etc, and how you held it on till the glue dried.

cheers in advanced mate

I didnt actually do it, it was done by the garage. Basically, you should line the feet with the spoiler (3 hands) and lower it onto the car. Remove the spoiler but keep the feet on the glass and mark where they are to go.

Once marked and you're sure its in the right place, etch the glass where the feet are to be stuck. THis will ensure a stroger bond.

When happy its in the right place, smack the glue on and hold the leg in place for a while. It ma be an idea to open the boot so that the window is horizontal when letting the glue dry.

Once the feet are stuck securely, bolt the spoiler onto the feet.

nice one cheers wimmy, im just gonna do it ma self. when u say etch the glass, do u mean scratch it a bit so that bond is stronger,or the actual outide of the feet on the glass.

Re: Re: Re: Re: wimmy

Just a suggestion, when i did my old car, the window was just over horizontal and my feet slipped..arrgghhh...DOH!

so when i re-done it, i tied a piece of string between the bumper and the boot..sorted!!!

another handy tip from Daz...
