Hi, would appreciate a bit od adveice, took the Bravo for a repair and spray quote yesterday and was told by the garage it would fail an Mot because it has been de-handled and was remote opening, i explained to the guy that you could manually open it from the inside and if god forbid some one hit the bravo on the door side anyway the windows are always an option!!!!.

Is he right, has anyone out there had an mot with this mod and been okay???. Thanks :)

just keep the window open, so u can open it from inside!

HI @mit,

Didn't get the text?.
What do you mean keep the window open?, for the MOT?,its due in september isn't it m8?

yep for the MOT i thought it was due in dec - 3 yrs from wen it was 1st registered :S

amit

yep the front doors must have a means of opening FROM THE EXTERIOR wether it be mechanical or electronic. I've a Marea(4 door) and have de-handled the rears and tailgate but not the front doors which is totally legal.
However some freindly MOT stations will ignore it.

It has a secret button to get in from the outside also, does that make it legal spyder?.
Thanks
