Hi there, new to the forum. Unfortunately, I don't have much mechanical knowledge about cars (other than what I can Google) so apologies if I ask idiotic things.
I have a 57 plate Bravo 1.4 T-Jet Dynamic. ~47000 miles.
For the past year or so, there is an odd whining noise that appears to come from behind the glovebox on the passenger side, that only occurs when the car is moving. It's not tied to engine revs, as it persists when the clutch is down.
It's barely noticeable at slow speeds, but as speed increases the pitch gets higher and it gets louder. I have tried to explain this to many garages and they haven't fixed it. I've had the fanbelt replaced so I don't think it's that. Does anyone know what this might be, so that I can attempt to get it fixed?
The other thing that has started to happen is that sometimes, after about 10-20 minutes of driving, the windscreen fogs up dramatically in one go. I presume this is my air conditioning needing a service?
