Had my 1988 45S for a week now :D

The tyres are all pretty rubbish though and a friend
is on the look out for a new set from the local scrap
yard.

Steel rims have 165/65/13 tyres fitted.

Question is:
Apart from other Uno wheels, are there any other models
which would have the correct sized rims ?

I can't help you exactly. I think you will find it difficult to find any wheels other than the Uno's to fit on a Uno.

I originally had 145's on my Uno, 165's are a much better option although I think 155's are the correct tyres.

My first signiture (a lot of thought put into it): If you can't find the switch to switch your fogs off I am sure I can help you! Damn fogs.

According to "Haynes" the standard wheels are 4.50J x 13

The tyre sizes are

135 SR 13 on the basic 45 and 55/60's
155/70 SR 13 on the 55/60 and 70 "Super"/S

The SX has alloy wheels (of unspecified size) and

165/65 R 13

The Turbo has 5 1/2 J x 13 and

175/60 HR 13

But, "Haynes" may not be absolutely on the button though...

I read that in the Haynes too, my grandpa said he had seen wider wheels on a bike so thought 155's would be better on my Uno 45.

When we were offered 4 good tyres on Uno wheels as 165 for £15 from this weird bloke from ebay we couldn't say no so that is what I am quite happily using.

"135 SR 13 on the basic 45 and 55/60's" 135's ????? Strange.

I don't particularly want new wheels (ie alloys). Just that if my mate can pick up some wheels already fitted with the right tyres it will save me some money. (Got 4 cars !!!! [:0] ) Just wondered if Panda wheels or something similar would have same PDC to fit an Uno :D

All new to me this Fiat stuff !!! :D

Nearly all fiat have same PCD, scrappy wont charge to fit the tyres to your wheels, but they will need a balance, balance is cheeper if you take the wheels in in your mates car and say you are paying cash no recipt.

Do you not have any Uno rims?

Yeah, I've got the steel rims which are on the car the mo. It's just
the tyres that are rubbish !! But if I can find out which other rims
will fit an Uno, thought it might make it easier for him when looking
for some more. Probably be easier and cheaper just to pick up a set
of rims/tyres if there are any that would fit, rather than getting
the scrappies to separate the tyres from the rims if he can find any
tyres the right size. :D

Yeah, I guess, I got very lucky with mine.

Best of luck with getting your wheels and tyres, sorry I can't offer more help.

ive got alloys on my uno which are 195x45 15" and they fit perfect if a little large i think 185 would be a better size! if ur looking for alloys that will fit it i went to ETS and they have some wheels in that fit unos.

mine are called italian n thats all i know but they 6spoke and quite nice!

if i was havin new tires i would have 185x 55 think that would be the perfect size!

gotta love the uno's

busy wit college and my car m8!
just spent £160 on my car on central locking a smooth boot spoiler and blacked out windows and the boot was white and it needed smoothing so that cost me an extra £0 cos i know a sprey0r the best in derbyshire :D

gotta love the uno's

Panda wheels are same PCD, but usually 13 x 4.0 B
rather than 13 x 4.5 B

Although there is at least one Panda with 4.5 B wheels -
but I don't know if they were the original fitment.

Pandas are commonly fitted with 135s, some ( 4x4 ) have
145s, and the S and CLX usually have 155 - all on the 4.0 B rims AFAIK.

Cheers for all that. So, basically, I'm looking for either
135 or 155 13's if I just want tyres to fit my existing steel
rims ???

Mate found some 155 13's on metro wheels today but didn't get them
in case they would be ok. So looking at the info up there ^^^^ sounds
like those tyres could be ok ????

Best sprayer in Derbyshire ???? Can't be the same one I know !! :p

155/70R13 is standard on small Unos.

On 14" you'd want 165/60 or 175/55 (rare) to achieve the same speedometer reading.

abarth wheels & steering. ia lowered. pg audio. refurnish.

projects: air intake. (used) seats. exhaust-repair. legal tint.

Check carefully the specification of the Metro tyres:
ISTR early the Metro had a funny wheel specification and the tyre size which was pretty much unique ( and expensive ) to that car/wheel.
