hi all just put a new clutch on the marea 105 jtd real bummer to do anyways got it started up can not get it into any gear so blead system arm is moveing as it should

only thing i can think of is if im right in saying the clutch disk is flat on one side and has a raised errrr funel on the other i put this side faceing the outwards so the hole funnel thing is faceing out wards

dose this need to face in wards as when i fitted it the plate was a bit hard to fit cheers

The friction plate (flat bit) should be towards the flywheel, the release bearing, housing pressure plate and diaphragm fingers look a bit like a funnel but lots of slots in it) should be away from the engine and the clutch release. The friction plate should be centralised before re-fitting the gearbox, you can buy atool to do this or prod around with a srewdriver and do it by eye. It may be that the transmission splines are binding? You did connect up the fork lever ends to the release bearing )

ok panic over i put the friking friction plate the wrong way round der der

lol wasnt funny at the time but she now runs like a good un cheers
