Which gearbox?

Hey, I'm about to go to a scrapyard to try and find a gearbox for a Bravo 1.2sx 16V, I was wondering if I have to get one from the exact model or which other models would do the job? Many thanks, Gary

the 1.2 punto gearbox fits & is easyer to find.

technically speaking, it doesnt fit completely but will do the job. different ratios tho. will accelarate faster I believe but will lose top end speed.

What about diffrent kinds of Bravo's? Just the 1.2 SX fit or will the 1.4 do the job?

Gearbox

I have a Punto box in my bravo as i couldnt find a replacement 1.2 16v box. There is one bolt that doesnt line up, but the fit is snug and acceleration is quicker.

No problems at all with the different box. The box that fits is from a Punto 1.2 8v

1.4 gearbox fits a 1.4
1.6 gearbox fits a 1.6
1.8 gearbox fits a 1.8
HGT gearbox fits an HGT

They are ALL different.
