Do I go with BLUE

Do I go with the common RED

Or should I just tidy up the GOLD colour that they already are .

Or should I forget about about painting them altogether and put some 18" wheels on instead. Bearing in mind that this is what the difference 18s will make..

I think the blue is great! (y) ......But I also like the 18"s. Although they will cost a bit more than the blue paint ;)

I like the Blue...

But Id go black as I dont see the point in making them stick out tbh

yeah the 18s are a far more expensive option as im gonna need new tyres too and my eagle f1s only have 1k miles on them..

But if i go for the bigger brakes im probably going to need to change my insurance company for a more mod friendly service, and that will probably balance out the cost difference.

Yes Silver was also an option, but i figured i would include that in with the gold as the paint i have seen is somewhere between silver and gold in colour.

you should have them the same colour as the body, hamerite do a laquer don't they?

Not too sure which 18s yet mate, I have quite a few in mind but i really like the wheels that i have on at the moment, they seem to suit the car well IMO.
I have tried a lot of different wheels on the car (paintshopped) and none of them look as good, so i would be tempted to get 18's in the same style and that would be a bit of a waste IMO just for 1/2 inch all round.

BTW thanks to the mod who moved the thread.. i put it in the wrong area and didn't realise till after the post ;) sorry.

Here's a better view of the blue calipers, as that seems to be the majority vote so far..
Also, if i use hammerite does anyone know what i need to clean/prepare the calipers with ?

Yeah just give them a good scrub with a wire brush. Youre car is quite new (I think  ) so there shouldnt be much ****e on them.

The hammerite goes on very easy after that (y)
but does it stay on well ?
Yeah the cars only 3 months old now and only got 1k on the clock.

Does the hammerite take long to dry ?
Can i do a pair of wheels at a time and have enough time to do the others in the same day once they're dry ?

Mines been on about 10 months, painted on a sort of rusty caliper and its stayed on........its just stained a bit because I havnt kept them clean

The paint dries really quick, theres more than enough time to paint all four- even giving them a couple of coats (y)
