Can anyone please tell me the correct interval to change the timing belt on a 1.9 d Scudo . My scudo handbook says 120000 KILOMETRES , I've done 85000 KM since last change which was just over 5 years ago and I'm getting different info from different garages , with one saying change after 5 years and the other saying 8 years , theres no mention of any time factor in my handbook , help much appreciated

The 'book' says 80,000 miles (120,000km) so each and every 120k would seem appropriate.

That said, personally, I'd change it every 50,000 miles (about 80,000km) after the first one. No sense in inviting trouble......

You seem to do about 12,500 miles/year so a change every 4 years would give you a lot of peace of mind. Well, it would me...:p

The garage that recommende 8 year intervals seems to have based this on your current mileage use. The other garage seems to err on the safe side. I'd do the same.
