Introduction
So I met up with a mate called Si from the Stilosport website at the Trafford Centre tonight. I brought along my Alfa and we took some pictures, here's how they turned out:

Haha yes, I was worried on the drive over about the crud off the motorway!
Pretty much all the 2ltr Lusso's I loooked at had the 17" supersports on!

I was expecting pictures of a head-on collision.....
If you see from the pictures, that almost happened!
Nice comparison photos there. I had a similar comparison to do a few years ago, when I was trying to decide between buying a 2003 Stilo or a 2002 147.
Both were the same price, but I came out in favour of the Stilo's five-cylinder engine and more handsome looks The 147 looked a bit too rounded and girly for me And it doesn't help that the Mazda 3 looks very similar - in the shape of the rear window and lights.
I then learned what it's like to own a car that's only three years old - the constant threat of depreciation, the expensive insurance, the fact that my old 164 was the better 'driver's car'...
So I sold the Stilo and bought a 2001 Punto instead - a quarter the price
