Technical Wheel paint colour match/code?

Aargh! I washed my car this morning. I used a wheel brush on the wheels and, after doing the first one, noticed that the wire centre of the brush has put massive scratches in the paint

It's a standard 12" steel wheel painted in white/off-white... anyone know if there's a paint code or recommend a colour to use?

Those wheel brushes are a nightmare. A few months agoI put a scratch on one of our brand new C3 alloys ; luckily I spotted the first, fine scratch. and then threw the brush away.

The original wheel colour is silver, I used a generic "steel-wheels" aerosol spray from the motor factors, followed by a matching clearcoat.

I painted the top of my campervan in white Rustoleum paint. It's also available in aerosol form and the standard white is RAL 6010.

Thanks for the tip - the finish on the camper top looks good! Looking round the other wheels. one is showing signs of rust bubbling through the paint so they could probably all do with a repaint anyway.
