Howdy guys,

I know it weird me asking q's on here lol! I'm off work this week but am looking at selling a set of Grande Punto 15'' rims on ebay. Whilst taking pics I was thinking how smart they'd look on a 500! Now I dont want to advertise them on ebay if they dont fit the 500 correctly!! Also if they do fit OK are the 500 wheel bolts ok to use?

The GP rims I have a 4 x 100 ET 37

Isn't the 500 ET 35?

Thanks for your help guys

Chris

GP wheels will not fit the 500, it's not so much the PCD being different at 4X100PCD as opposed to 4X98PCD on the 500 (and most Fiats) as that can be overcome with PCD correction (wobble) bolts/nuts but its the different center bore that would cause problems, Fiats/Lancia's/Alfa's are mostly 58.1mm, but the GP as it shares its underpinnings with the Corsa has the GM standard 56.1mm, so the wheel would not fit over the centre bore.

This could be overcome by getting the wheels bored out at a engineers place, done this before when fitting Seat Ibiza wheels on a R5GTT, but its another cost to consider.

in theory......yes....however, i think as some have pointed out, the older, 80's and early 90's styles may not suit the 500 as much as you'd like, esp the more flat faced, slabby wheels.
Yeah i'd certainly agree. Fiat have done a lot of nice wheels and tbh very few of them would suit the 500.

Ah right cool. That means I could get a nice set quite cheaply then from good old eBay.
For the money you'll spend refurbing them and putting new tyres on you'll probably be better off just getting alloys with the car you purchase.
