For Christmas this year?!

Im working most of the holidays (including 9-12pm on Christmas eve) but will be having the usual meal on Christmas day then working the rest (INCLUDING new years day! ) except Hogmanay!

On the upside I have a week off to myself in the new year to recover! 8)

Well im trekking down to Newcatsle to my sister's with mummy and daddy, then heading to the g/f's on boxing day! for more present opening fun!

you see i dont know the deal. its my gf and i's 1year anniversery on xmas day and i dont know if i'm even going to see her haha. she said weel be spending it with out families, but who knows. i dont really mind haha. but ill be back in the homeland for some drenching with my friends im sure

Christmas day this year shall consist of going to mass, going to the gfs and then us coming back to mines for some christmas dinner followed by an hour or two of pro evo 5 (whilst the women do the washing up) then just watch some tv for a while.... a good family christmas - nottin beats it

no no, she had to work boxing day and christmas eve (?other way round lol) and couldnt make it down. was for debnhams, so not likely

although when i worked for them on boxing day 2 years ago i did get £13/hr

Like people askin me if somerfield is open christmas day - no its shut till the 27th cause i have a ****in family and a social life like everybody else who works there, also people who go shoppin on christmas eve and buy 5 times more than they normally do - like we are shut for 2 weeks.

Nope. The people I deal with are at a distance. No one to one interaction. As long as I can stand up and talk, I'd be fine! :wink: :lol: Whats so important that we can't wait a day to 're-open' - well, it's a service that doesnt just shut because the rest of the world has a day off! :wink: 8)

Agree with you completely. I used to stack shelves at night and folk coming in at 3am to buy flour just started pissing me off! Glad those days are behind me!
