We love our twinair dualogic. We’d like to keep it long term. What should we be looking at in addition to routine servicing? Thanks for advice.

Corrosion protection for the rear twist beam and springs.

Think about what you're going to do when the exhaust needs replacing; AFAIK OEM parts are expensive and alternatives hard to find. Maybe consider a custom stainless system before you're in the hard place.

From reading these pages for over a decade now I'd suggest corrosion is going to be an ongoing issue and attending to treatments to keep it at bay would be fairly critical. The Dualogic transmission doesn't inspire confidence in extended longevity either.

My Twinnie will be twelve years old in July but low mileage (about 27,500mls), a manual gearbox, regular servicing and a drier, milder climate should conspire to keep it roadworthy for a good few years yet.
