What stereo can I use?

I have a 2001, Y reg, Punto and it has no stereo in it. It does have a Blaupunkt multi disc mounted in the dash under the heater controls. Do I have to have an original Fiat cassette player or can I use something else?

I'm no expert on car audio but I would imagine you could fit say an MP3/CD headunit and make the multi changer redundant. Alternatively, as you have already said, you could fit a tape player and still use the multi changer.


However if you fit an MP3 CD headunit you can fit hundreds of songs onto a disc so you wouldn't need your multi changer.
