General what size tyres for 14" alloys?

ok, ive bought a set of 14" alloys that look the same as mk2 UT rims, but they actually from a fiat tempra and are a 14" version

theyre 5.5 wide, offset ET43 and 14".

now, what size tyres should i fit?

185/50/14??
185/55/14??
185/60/14??

or do i go 175???
or 195???

i dont want em to look too rubber band like on a 14" rim o they'll look really lost lol! i want them to look just right!

I'd say it depends how much under you want the speedow to read

I can't say I'm running 185/50/14 as I ain't ever had this Uno started LOL but that's what tyres are fitted. the guy who sold me the car (who spent some time band for speeding) told me that this profile keeps the same rolling radius as standard and so the speedow remains accurate.

This is on standard turbo suspension..

mine using 14 and rubber is 185/55/14, dont have a problem lowered it about an inch. i wanna go 15" but the weight keep set me back, perhaps it is not the case if i'm running a turbo :yum:

not too fussed about the speedo being out much, its more how it'll look!

i will be lowering it on Avo coilovers, but dont want to do any arch mods but i dont want the tyres to catch anywhere to be honest!

so, 185/55/14?

I really thought that was a 5 door Tipo until I really stared at the picture!

185/60R14 is Tipo diameter (same as makes no difference as 195/50R15) which will rub.

185/55 tend to be a fair bit cheaper than 185/50; wider choice too.
