Hi guys, I have a 57 plate GP 1.4 t jet sporting... ive got the standard 17inch sporting alloys with it but im not too sure what the tyre pressure should be...

I had it serviced last april and at that point they were all at 28 psi.

I just checked online and according to many websites the front wheels should be at 37 psi and the rears at 33 psi...

Does anyone know the pressure it should be at and is having them at 28psi bad for the car?

Thanks :)

Μedium Load front:2.4bar rear:2.2bar

Full Load front:2.4bar rear:2.4bar

When you got the car did you get the owners handbook?

not been funny but you need to read it its ok saying it comes on 17" alloys but without the tyre size its anyone's guess (unless they also own the same car)

it is all listed in the technical specifications section in your hand book (towards the back)

edit there is a extra bit to your manual as you have a tjet

205/45 R17 88V

(bar)

Medium load front 2.4 rear 2.2
Full load front 2.4 rear 2.4

Add +0.3 bar to the prescribed inflation pressure when the tyres are warm. Recheck pressure value with cold tyres.
With snow tyres, add +0.2 bar to the inflation pressure value prescribed for standard tyres.
When running at speed higher than 160 km/h, inflate tyres at full load inflation values.
With T.P.M.S. system, pressure value shall be + 0.1 bar than prescribed value.
