Technical what parts are the same?

Just want to know which of these parts are the same throughout the range?

Iv got the 2.0L MJET 165Bhp Bravo 2008 what i want to know is does any of the other cars have the same size parts fitted like 1.6 diesel or the 1.9 150bhp diesel or even the 1.4 t-jet 150bhp. As nothing is listed for my car but im aware that they dont normally use specific parts for each individual car.

i know the 1.6 Diesel has a circle air filter is that the same as mine?

and i know the 1.9 diesel is the same weight as the 2.0 so surely i can use 1.9 suspension on it?

Air filter - 1.6 Mjet/ 1.4t same as - 2.0Mjet?
Front Disc brakes - 1.6 Mjet/ 1.4t petrol / 1.9Mjet 150 same as- 2.0Mjet?
Suspension - 1.6 Mjet/ 1.4t petrol / 1.9Mjet 150 same as- 2.0Mjet?

I'd say most of the things like brakes are the same unless you have a sport.

Although I'm not too sure on anything else.

just use the correct part related to your chassis number - it really is that simple

well if i want after market parts they dont sell anything for the 2.0mjet.. and i cant see them bein any different so thats why i want to know other wise yes i would just type in 2.0mjet and buy parts for it but it just doesnt work like that at the moment since the engine is too new.

what sort of aftermarket parts?

general consumables must be genuine parts to maintain warranty

suspension and brakes etc you will need to investigate yourself using eper or get companies to use your car as a development case

well i would like a K&N panel filter for my car rather then the paper ones that are fitted. i found i got a bit more mpg from my last K&N panel filter

thats why i wanted to know what the airbox was the same as.. they have the K&N for the 1.4 turbo and for the 1.6 diesel with DPF and im sure they both have round airboxes like mine

suspension i have now found GMAX and Ebach springs as long as they fit the suspension and are made for the 1.9 there shouldnt be a problem anyway as they weigh the same as its the same engine but modified to a bigger bore.

brakes im after drilled and grooved although not sure if i need these really but its a thought. Part from that theres nothing else i would wish to change on the car as i think they look very nice with the standard body kit on.

you will struggle with brakes as there is little/nothing available for the TJet 150

so will that filter fit the 2.0mjet as well?

im guessing it will as BMC make one that goes in the 1.4TJET to 2.0lMJet all Round filters like that one.

i think iv found some EBC grooved and drilled Discs for my car at the moment been e-mailing EBC them selves and they just informed me that they make them for my car.. i need to see a link first though..

The air filter fitted to your model is a one off.
The front brake pads & discs are shared with a variant of the Alfa MiTo
The coil springs are also a one off

hmm cant see how that would be possible if BMC are sellin filters that state they fit in all three models.. Same as eibach they have them listed for the 1.6 1.9 and 2.0JTD engine

can you do me a favour then look me up what price/size a rear left hand door speaker is thats just gone faulty! its like one thing after another with these things there terrible for braking..not like i have the volume loud either since im very conscience of things like that.. 11 is the max i have the CD player on.
