Hi all!

Thanks for the many great Stilo guides on here which I have benefitted a lot from :) Now it is time for my first post..

I have noticed there is a dark rubbery "patch" in the front part of the center console. I have tried to attach an image with the rubbery patch circled but as this is my first post, I am not able to do so. I hope it is clear which patch I mean. I have been wondering whether it is safe to remove it / drill through it to mount a button there, to control the LED lights I have mounted in my Stilo 1.4 with manual gear.

Only rubber parts I can think of are the coin holder at the right front of the handbrake lever, and the rubber mat at the bottom of the twin cup holder.

Both of these are removable.
