Grande Punto What front splitter / diffuser is this?

Can anybody tell me what splitter this GP is running?

I found this car on Pistonheads a while back and pulled down a couple of pics for inspiration. The only thing I forgot to do was copy the Mods spec. - DOH!!!

Also, what price have people paid for the Seat Leon Cupra Splitter and did you get it direct from a Seat dealership or just off and auction site like ebay?

They're going for £42 buy it now with £6 postage at moment.

yep thats the one i had one on my car and they fit really well and did'nt want the usual seat cupra lip spoiler.

On that page though, it says "Splitter lower the car visually and improve the grip and vehicle stability" - Is there really any truth in that?

I have been looking at this too. Dont think it will improve grip and stabilaty though Sam.

Splitters do help for grip and stability on racing cars, but on a GP ?
I doubt it would help too much

I think it is purely cosmetic mate on a GP!

Yeah any splitters or spoilers on a GP will be purely cosmetic, I remember having this argument with a mate after I bought a spoiler for my GP. I told him it wasn't go to help performance in anyway but he wouldn't have it

I have been thinking of getting the leon cupra splitter for a while but this one looks much nicer. is it really that easy to fit?

Yes I found the Euro Tuning Shop website after seeing the Front Bumper Lip Spoiler on ebay. I defo think I'll be opting for this over the Seat Cupra splitter for ease of fitting and looks. Down side I suppose though is the fact that it may well get scrapped/bashed or even ripped off at speed bumps or even short changes in road elevation. My brother had a GP and he said his used to scrape all the time and his wasn't even lowered
