Styling What color on my uno turbo?

Well, i have 2 uno's at the moment.
I'm going to sell the 70 SL and get the uno turbo in great shape. I haven't maked up my mind bount the color. At the moment "kawasaki-green" (http://www.opelragger.com/minebiler.htm this green) is the color i'm going for. Any other suggestions that could be nice looking on a uno?? Do you think it would be great looking to paint the bumpers too?

i personally would leave the bumpers black (as you are bound to be told...the uno is one of the only cars that is able to pull off the 'black bumper' look!)
as for a body color.... im gonna have to say red

although a real bright colour like the green you suggested would make the UT stand out more (specially when steaming past slow drivers/cars)

charlies nailed it colourwise, pretty much what i'm going for on mine, a deep solid red for the body, black bumpers, arches and sills, red calipers and carriers. and to set it off, high polish silver alloys, simple, classic.

the kawa green should look awesome, again though the black underline would really show it up, as for alloys, i think that would be quite tricky, fat spokes might work?

most of the time i would agree that colour coded bumpers don't look that good on the uno (esp mk1) however there is a deep red one on here (i cant remember who owns it) that does have it and looks bloody awesome

i think red!! definatley!!!!!!!! with black wheels (red car black wheels, my favourite )

why not set up a poll in the 'put it to the vote' section. make a list of all the possible/preferred colours you are thinking of and 'other colour' for the people that want to suggest their own colour.

and people might even have a play around on PhotoShop for you so you can see what the colours will look like

Great! i will post more photos my UT. Yes, red is great looking but i think i'm going for a more "bright" color like orange, green etc. This http://www.bilgalleri.dk/html/gal_visbil.asp?ID=4143 is a really good looking one, colored bumpers (not all), imagen kawa green.

I'm definitely with Charlieboy and Turboned with the black bumpers and trim. The mk1 really looks good like that. I personally think the mk1 has a very individual, almost classic look that doesn't need to be messed around with. Keep it standard'ish, but use subtle highlights to bring it up to date.

I'm not a fan of black wheels, sorry Charlieboy. They always look to me like steel wheels where the hup caps have fallen off... They don't stand out very well either. Black wheels with black tyres hidden in the dark recesses of a wheel arch. Everything seems to get lost as there is no definition. If you're going to fit nice alloys you might as well make them stand out a bit!

So go for classic silver or polished (NOT chromed, too 'bling'!) alloy wheels. Style is up to you. There's loads out there to choose from.

As for colour, yes, red is the classic colour. But, if yours isn't red to begin with, then go for a bright colour of your choice. I love Kawasaki green, especially as I had a Kawasaki motorbike in the Kawasakai racing green! And my first car was green too. All down to taste really.

I've done a really hamfisted attempt on photoshop to make a mk1 Uno turbo in the green that you like. Also blacked out the bumpers and trim more, but I didn't do a very good job. It does give you an idea of what it will look like, and I think green with black trim would look great

My photoshop 'talents' don't stretch to changing wheels for nice new alloys I'm afraid! You'll have to put up with standard alloys (that need refurbishing) in my Photoshop attempt

Well Chas, that's really green. Mine looks that way but are in gray metallic right now, i have i photo in my gallery (more to come).
I think your photoshop talents are great!
Should i go for metallic or standard color? White alloy wheels i think would look nice or classic silver.

Its all about personal taste, if you like the kawasaki green you should go for it cos its your car at the end of the day. Dont let others opinion put you off even though i said i didnt like it i have seen a few jap cars in that colour that have pulled if off before and they did look quite good.

Other then that i've found a pic of my mates mark 1 which was in lambo yellow. The light quality in the pic was quite bad so it doesnt appear as bright as it really was if you were to see it with your own eyes.
Sadly this car was burnt in a fire and no longer exists and is also the reason i bought an UT in the first place

apart from red and black, there is one other standard fiat colour that i think looks really good on the tub,
