What am I doing here?

Hello to all members, from New Zealand.

To be honest I joined almost by accident.
My Brava needed a new ECU for the airbag and in NZ it costs NZ$750 from a wrecker ($1600 new), so I checked out UK options and found you guys.

I also had 2 replies from wreckers for an ecu...one from The Salvo Group with a cost of 30 pounds, and one from FL Autos for 125 pounds. Both companies get scathing reports from forum members, so Im wondering if anyone can advise me of a reputable source??

Any advice is appreciated...I dont want to be a part of 'forced obsolescence'

Hi, do you have the "red" master key for this as well as regular blue ones?, as this is needed for ECU repair/programming/fault clearing and to set the timing on these? fantastic little cars but our 1.8 16vgt Bravo developed fault and was near write off without red key.... karekare (45 ) 9:38 pm, Sun 21 S
