General wet carpets

Hi there I'm new to the forum and have a problem with my Ulysse (2005 2l petrol eleganza) - recently (last week or two) I have noticed the mats and floor coverings in the front of ther car are soaking - no sign of moisture anywhere else so not a leak from above - garage were not very useful they thought the drain holes at the bottom of windscreen were blocked and cleasned out - no effect --- I'm wondering if it could be something to do with the air conditioning system -------- anybody got any ideas or suggestions as to where I should start looking

Could be aircon drain, but... Does your rear washer work? The pipe passes through the drivers side above the accelerator. Which side is wet?
