Got the cam belt done and all seemed well, unitl I lost all my dials. Then they cam back again and then I lost them again, then they came back again.

Then if that was not enough, occassional loss of power in first when pulling away.

Garage sorted the dials, but could not find the fault that caused the loss of power, however this morning I now have nothing. All the warning lights flash and click and there's a humming from, well if this was an old car I would say the distributor (top right hand side of the engine) , but I don't know what it is, but it's electrical for sure.

So I am know off to the garage with the keys.

the fuel pump is in the fuel tank under the rear seats so rule that out.

the top right hand side of the engine (when looking in engine bay) is where several relays are located. they would buzz if the battery was too low or sometimes if a short circuit is occuring elsewhere. it sounds like an electcical fault to me. worth checking the battery charge and cleaning its terminals.
