was just going fora drive and now the passanger side door light is on and will not turn off, the electric wing mirrors will not work, electric windows both only on that side will not work?

anyone had this problem? and with the car having an old battery its going to be a massive pain if it drains all the power left in it :(

its going to have to go to the garage tomorrow but if someone knows if its an easy fix that i could do instead of paying lots to the local garage :/

Separate the main connector between car and door (between the upper and lower door hinges). Clean contacts (with contact cleaner only) and allow to dry. Reassemble.

once it stop raining il give it a try, the only thing the computer tells me is that ive got a numberplate bulb out which is last weeks problem :L

thanks for the advice :)

Update:

It ran out of battary this morning, wouldnt start, so got a charge on the battary and started the car up, that somehow fixed my problem with the e/wingmirror and e/windows and turned the light off aswell,

But now my boot will not open when i unlock the car, so i have to use the boot button on my key to unlock it. This has been a stange week for the stilo .....

Your battery problem may have activated the independant boot lock function. This can be reset to open the doors and boot with the "MODE" button as described in the handbook. (see below)

If you have the Connect Nav+ fitted, the function can only be reset from the "SETUP" then "VEHICLE" menu of the CN+.

under the menu boot open thingy was turned off, and found out you can make it so you can only open the driver door aswell :) thanks for all that, not really too good with the cars trip computer and all :)

you mentioned about having the sat nav+ thinggy, can you put that in a non-abarth stilo? and could you put a sub woofer though that? or is it worth putting 100 towards getting an aftermarket one, because i think the screen looks really cool :)

cheers

all my electrics have packed up on the passenger side door too windows, central locking mirrors ect ect, is this an onboard menu job too, or is that too simple?
