and the punto will no longer be my car.

2 and a half years on, I have grown out of it, and need something a bit bigger and more practical and economical for travelling back and forward to dunfermline every day.

Picking up a new vehicle on monday.

Bought an 05 plate Ford Focus Edge Tdci 3 door, and like my dads focus its bright red.
Only 21000 miles and owned previously by a ford technician, it is mint!

Like marks car, about 110bhp with remapping potential, and it goes like **** compatred to the punto. (i havent looked up the exact figures yet)

Im not going as far with this as i did with the punto modding wise- debadge it maybe and thats about it.

Best thing is im £30 a month cheaper to insure this than the punto. You read that right, £30!!

My Punto has been bought by my sister, who will be using it to learn to drive in, as well as sharing it with my mum.
Im still insured on it as i have insured the punto and focus under one policy, so will still use it every so often, but i will miss it.

that is a shame, atleast its not gone to a chav whom you'll see razzing the **** out of it

Well Simon as I said in my text - you wont regret it.

You have had the Punto for a while and I guess its just time to move on - at least you can still keep an eye on it,

i have been looking at cars for a few months now, and everytime i walk out the showroom i seen the punto in the car park and couldnt part with it. It sounds daft, but i have become attached to the car and i will find it hard not having it everyday and to see my sis driving it, but it makes total financial sense.
