My Weitec Ultra GT Seicento kit has finally arrived!!
Turns out Weitec are also 'ST Suspensions' and 'KW' which gave me a shock when I opened the box and saw 'ST on the dampers and not Weitec! But hey ho.
Starting with build quality they seem very good! On my old car I had BC Racing suspension and it's easily on par with that! It's all powered coated to a very high standard (springs and dampers), the only part where the paint is slightly off is where the springs were hung up for baking.
This kit does not come with top mounts, don't know if spring and damper kit usually do or not but all the coilovers I have bought did come with new top mounts.
I will be fitting these tomorrow after work. Will take pics during the installation and of course the before and after pics :) Then the fun part, a good old HOON around the local road circuit (a few roads that conveniently make a loop) and then I'll inform you guys/girls on how they perform.
Here's some pics of the kit :)

Josh

They're 40mm front 30mm rear.
They were £435.46 delivered. Took 4 working days and ordered from DC Performance.
There are a bit pricey but the VW guys rate them very highly and also if there a product of KW they must be pretty good.

Managed to fit them yesterday but didn't get round to giving them a proper drive. But had a blast this evening and they're very very good!! A little harsher than than expected but not uncomfortable.
They corner very flat! I can now take my test corner (a long roundabout) at 45mph instead of 37! And that's on crappy Nankangs!
Fitting the kit was very easy other than changing the top mount. I only had one spring compressor so that was mostly why I struggled.
All in all I would highly recommend this kit to anyone who is looking for a 'fast road kit for they're Sei ?

That looks sweet! :)

Also settles it for me - I'm buying a spring kit like this. Seems like it's a tad higher than my present setup and hopefully without the steelrods-for-springs-feeling my kit has, lol.

What tire profile are you running? Just for comparison pruposes.

Here's mine on 165/55R14 with a 60/40mm drop on Koni dampers:

And also, has the ride height settled a bit? They tend to go end up a bit lower after a few days of driving.

Do you have a bumper quick release?

Yeah I do have a quick release bumper (y)
Makes changing most things loads easier!

And also it doesn't seem to have settled at all.... Don't know if that's good or bad but if I'm honest I would have liked it a tad lower.

Got some 14's to go on very soon! There in the queue for spraying and I'll be running 195/45r14 yokohamas on them so I'll post up another pic then (y)

However I'm still very pleased with the way the car drives now!!! The damping and spring rates are spot on!!

Looks fantastic bud top job. Is the quick release home made or a kit?

Centojosh inspired me to get the same set of springs, though without the Weitec shocks as my car's on Yellow Konis. The Weitec springs have replaced a set of 60/40 ones, which were STIFF. The seller advertised them as 40/30 springs but both the box and included documents stated 35/35.
Funny thing is, the drop looks the same as centojosh's!

I've been over numerous speed bumps, gone theough various potholes, just finished doing 230km on the motorway and have been thrashing it (and driving normally) through roundabouts and many of my favourite 'test-areas'.
Comfort-wise on the road and over bumps, uneven/rippely tarmac and small potholes it's truly comfortable in cento-terms. The car is comparable with stock Sporting springs to some extent, though it's obviously a firmer ride.
In normal driving situations the car can be used as one normally would. The maximum speed over bumps is affected, but very little!

Going over a sharp-edged curb or something similair is punished instantly. This and big potholes are the only points were the firmer setup instantly punishes a daily driver.

The car feels planted through fast corners, as well. There is a catch, though! The rear is a bit twitchy when going at 100kph+ in strong crosswind. I suppose this is mostly a consequence of the rear sitting taller than the front. Add to that my tires which are sort of tall and stock Sporting width.

Previous experiences:

KAW/something: 60/40 (hard)
FK Coilovers: 55/50 (hard and bouncy/ridiculous)
Stock Sporting: Three-wheel turns, anyone?
BeBe Extreme shocks: 70/50 (OUCH!)
Apex: 40/40 (looked like 40/50, honestly a bad ride on stock shocks)

The Weitec kit seems a very good compromise if one's looking for that. I was and I'm absolutely satisfied!
