Hi everyone,

I am wondering if there exists a intake manifold for Weber 40 dcoe/dcom carbs that fits my cilinderhead?

I'm not sure where I saw it but a while ago I saw a picture of a Lancia engine (beta?) with the same camcovers as my engine with two webers attached to it.

I am aware of the high price tag, bad mpg and possible power loss/gain that come with a Weber conversion but I'd like to know if it's been done on this type of engine because I just love the sound and sight of those dcoe's, if you'd ask me they make more sence on a Lampredi twincam than a electronic injection system does!

thanks for you answers. I now know they exist and have two addresses.
But as I'd rather keep my options open, i'd like to search on ebay and google for these manifolds (secondhand) but I still don't know what to look for. Am I looking for a specific Fiat Tipo 2.0 8v manifold or am I looking for a manifold that fits all fiat twin cam 8v engines. As you guys know these parts aren't very easy to find for a tipo, so any information on other lancia/fiat/alfa's with the same manifold connection to the cylinderhead would be great!

there is not too much space for DCOEs under the bonnet on this type of head ( reverse flow)- unles you cut firewall....
Older engines in ritmo beta etc. used to have carbs oriented in the drivind direction tipo has opposite...

I think that better solution due to packaging problems will be some IDFs carbs wichs are vertical....

I would thinking about modification of std manifold (some cutting and welding) to get adaptor for IDFs or another thigs like slide plate TB...

hello guys i owned a tipo for 10 years from 2001 to 2011 with the same engine and color of yours
it was a quick car even with the automatic box i change it last year to punto mk2 face lift so excuse me i havn't an answer for you but you make me remember of it
