Weber 40 DCOE side-draft dual barrel carb with new K&N air filter.
Complete Italian made carburettor with manifold to fit Fiat 850 (Sport Coupe, Spider) and Fiat 127.
It may fit other Fiats or similar cars of the era with a different or modified manifold but I'm unsure.
I was told by the guy I bought this from (Ex-Chairman of a Fiat Owner's Club) that this carb has been professionally rebuilt but I cannot confirm this as I haven't had the work done myself.
Everything looks to have been professionally cleaned and it doesn't seem to have been used since. I have never used it or fitted it to a vehicle.
It has a new gasket set fitted and there are a couple of spare gaskets included.
Cast into the top of the carb is 'CARBURATORE WEBER. MADE IN ITALY.'
And stamped into the top is 'TIPO - 40DCOE 127A." and "No. 0 J.'
The jets are stamped '35'.
I bought this a couple of years ago with the intention of fitting it to my Fiat 850t camper but have been advised that even with an up-rated engine it's still a bit overkill for my van!
