General Water in tailgate

May as well try and cure all faults !
When I open tailgate water swilling about and some comes out of bungs at bottom.
should it have that much in ?
any cures ?

mine always has water dripping out when i open the boot after washing it or if it rains a lot
i dont really think of it much but now u mention it it may begin to rust

Focus got in there before me

If you are going to follow the previous post I would silicone seal all of the gaps (I have gone back and done the lot)...even try some insulating tape if you are a bit sceptical...but it does work as long as you get all of the gaps.

The only prob I have now is that the top lip of the boot (above the rubber seal where the hinges are) is filling up with snow. Comes in the same gap between the spoiler and the roof and it is a real pain to get it all out each time it snows!!!!
