Suppose I should introduce myself.

Have found the site purely by chance and have already had a good look through the DIY guides, so no chances of "how do I do that" posts most newbies generally put up :D

The car in question is a 1993-4 Cinquecento 899cc base model in Bianco White (paint code 710L). Got the car a year ago for nothing and use it for running to and from work (does £20 per month in fuel compared to my 4x4 Ford Sierra Saff which does £60+).

I work in London in the motortrade (bodyshop to be precise) and have been playing with cars since I was about 8 years old.

What else would people like to know?

Some pictures of the offending car as well:

I see the petrol lines on your car just below the cap... I had the same problem, if i'd either turn left at some speed, my fuel gauge would pretty much empty, and it would smell of petrol if i opened my window at a stop. Just because it would trickle out of that cap, but petrol is extremely potent, so even a small amount knocked you back a bit.

I think.......... it could be one of the last non-custom Z400/440/650s with an aftermarket 2into1 pipe:confused:

Nice try.

Kawasaki Z250A 1981 twin model, bored to 300cc with twin ram-air filters, Z250C carb with revised main jet and 2-1 silencer.

@ Red18: yeah, anything below half tank the fuel light comes on when cornering sharply left. I also have an answer for the petrol fumes, I don't open the window :rolleyes:
