Technical Washer's again!

Hi Guys, A strange one on my old Fiat 500 Pop. When you operate the front washers the water comes out on the tailgate not on the screen, is there a one way valve in the system somewhere? Operating the rear washers works as normal.

There is is only one pump it just reverses the way its turning to pump in the different directions IE- forwards/backwards. as it is not reversing direction and is only pumping one way IE backwards it could be an internal fault on the pump which a replacement one would cure!, but it might be a signal issue from the bcm?, I guess the best way would be to try a new pump as they are not to expensive! if that works yippee all good if not then bcm issues normally means lots of tears and money! good luck!

New pump, valve sticking possibly due to contamination in the washer bottle?
If you can live with it for now leave it, it's a bumper off job to easily fix though you maybe able to just about do by removing the trim under the wing
