Hi All,

Changed my Stilo 3 door JTD Dynamic today for a Panda 1.2 Dynamic, crossover black, nice slidey back seats.

1st impressions

When I arrived at the garage I was taken aback yet again by the size!!!

It's sooooooo small from the outside.

Anyhoo, drove back from Blackpool to Sunderland (Chorley FIAT, really good by the way)

It's a 1.2?

What is it really?

Totally taken aback by the smoothness, the total willingness to do 75mph all day, the lack, oh God, the heavenly lack of roadnoise!

I had no idea how noisy the Stilo was in this respect, and I loved the car, virtually fault free for 3 years of ownership.

I was dreading the body roll, it's way overstated, really nice to drive.

and finally, I agonised over petrol or Multijet, as by nature I'm mean.

My last 2 cars have been diesel, I'm so glad I went for the petrol.

It's surprising how you drive around turbo lag, weird not to have to.

Cracking car, even if I have picked up a nice stone chip already:cry:

Great forum by the way:slayer:

Did you have alot of road noise in your Stilo PNL?

My partner (our lass) held a conversation at 70, and that was a 1st...

Hmm, maybe the Stilo wasn't that bad after all...

Yep quite a bit of road noise and worse when you blatted it with an induction kit fitted ..that got on my nerves more and more towards the end and I would have fitted the original airbox on if I hadn't dumped it..:bang:
