Styling warrenty?

Styling warrenty?

You just have to be careful what you do modd, but each thing you change will obviously no longer be covered by the warrantee.

Fo example I have had mine lowered, I have new alloys and i have a new exhaust so anything wrong with them or possibly anything wrong that fiat can connect to those upgrades they will wangle their way out of fixing under warrantee. I would imagine even though i have only had lowering springs fitted, if there's a problem with any part of the suspension they probably will try to get out of it ?
Somebody correct me if im wrong please !

KoArAnG is indeed right!

I also have a mod-friendly dealership - last time server manager came to house to pick it up for warranty work, he even said 'oo, you lowered it, looks good'. They would also have seen the CDA as well [can't miss the sticker, and they were dealing with n/s headlamp].

So basically, my 3rd year dealership warranty still intact, albeit modded parts and any reciprocal items not covered.

ok this is the kinda hings i wanna do.

alloys, lower it, induction kit or supercharger, full bodykit, full exhaust, and superchip it i gather that most of that wud screw it over but these plans are gona take a year or two.

ave got two years left of warrenty

its a 1.6 16v active sport but i cud be getting another stilo as u read on the arnold shame forum maybe a 1.8 dynamic

I dont no the exact bhp increase but it also depends on wot uve dun to the engine aswel ie camshaft. superchager induction etc etc

Th e bad news is the unichip is no out yet for the stilo but it will be out startish sorta middle of this year

sounds like uve got it al sorted, just a bit elbow grease n saving to do! I would say go for the alloys, lowering n exhaust but leave thing like supercharhers, cam's, bodykit, etc.. till ur car has gone out of its warrenty.. I think the bumpers on the 3-Door are quite sporty looking away, a pair of the abarth skirt's give it a great look if you havent already got some side skirts. They are slightly different from the standard 1's on the abarth if that makes any sence! They are slightly more bulkey! Have a look at Twincamms or Bob's car they both have them fitted. They are in the fiat brio catalogue, which has various over bits for putting extra's on your stilo, like some rather stylish 'claw' alloys that me and some of the others have got! Check out ebay bits seem to pop up on there from time to time, like these claw alloys they are meant to retail in the fiat garage at bout £520 without tyres n bout £1000 with tyres.. great bargain i brought mine off this guy, he also actually works at a fiat garage!
