Hi there I am wanting to run one but more likely two turbos for a customised experimental vehicle, the catch is i am wanting to run these turbos from no means to do with an engine or petroleum based principle motor. I am wanting to know is it possible to run these turbos from some kind of electrical source that rebuilds it power like electro magnetic creating an electrical cell and is redistributed back into a cell as the wheels move on the vehicle, i have other components that go with the car ready to use with no engine i just need two turbos to run by an electrical interface. Does anyone at all know if there is a solution to my experiment. The tar weight of the vehicle max is 1800 kg by saying that i need the turbos to be fully functioning from minimal revolutions per minute to max output, so spinning of the turbos electricaly fed and running freely as it would in a car with an engine.

to be honest i'm not 100% with you here....
you want to create a vehicle that is electrically powered by spinning a turbo (either via direct electromagnetic source, or by blowing a fan into it?) how are you driving the wheels?

am i right in thinking that you are trying to build an over-unity vehicle? (as a student currently studying thermodynamics.... don't try)

if you're on about powering a turbo to pressurise air for powering an air motor... then i'd say you'd be better off either with a more suited dedicated compressor or with a supercharger with an electrical motor attached.
