hi, thanks for the link. i need the wheels for my mums car. i crashed it and she wont be happy unless it is very close to as it was before, thats why i would prefere 13" wheels, im going to keep trying over the next week to get 13" wheels and then i may have to settle for 14" wheels or maybe alloys.

will any punto wheels fit a MK1 Punto 1.2 8v 60S?

Thanks,Paul

Sorry - I too would like an immaculate set of trims for a 1998 60s, so don't have any to offer.

However, your posting has got my imagination running riot - how did you crash the car and damage 4 wheels and trims? Is that the only bits you need? Was the skid so long, that it wore through tires and flat edged the rim!!!?!

Here come da judge...

new wheels from fiat are about 45quid each (replaced one at christmas due to rust preventing a decent sealing surface)

if memory serves me correctly when i asked fiat service dept it was going to be 30quid for either 2 or 4... never did get round to replacing them, maybe when i move out of the city and don't need to parallel park!

i was going round a right hand bend, over corrected some understeer, rear outside wheel hit the kurb, pulled the tyre of the rim, loads of oversteer, drove onto the wrong side of the road and hit the kurb and grass bank, bending the drivers side wheels.

i got some 14" wheels as a temporary measure from a friend who has fitted alloys.

10days later a different friend rode his motorbike into the back of the car and stuffed his head through the rear screen, the rear of the car is a "V" shape, just waiting for his insurance company to sort it. He i fine, no injuries.

i feel pretty bad because it is my mums car, my car, a Triumph 1500TC is now back on the road so i no longer need to borrow her car, now that ive trashed it.

Ahhhh - Curiosity satisfied. Like the other guy said, I'd check that the suspecnsion hasn't taken a whack as well - the tracking at least might well need tweaking again.
