Tuning Wanted : Someone to custom make a Cinquecento rear exhaust

Hi guys,
I'm looking for someone to make me a custom made rear exhaust for my Cinquecento Sporting.

I would like a rear exhaust but with no box or silencer, just tubing.

2 Options :

1) Build a complet one from scratch with SS pipes

2) Take a cinquecento Sporting rear silencer, cut the box, and put a straight tube in place.

Anyone has that in there garage or can build me one or cheap ?

Looking for a cheap build, in SS if possible

You can buy all the tubing and bends and etc. off Jetex and suchlike. There's got to be someone in France local to you with a TIG.

A long shot might be to put something in one of the Welding forums. http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/ would be a good place to start (TIG welders on there, too) -- there are French members, including one extremely attractive female professional French welder.

It's the logistics that otherwise bugger everything up.

I can do it through work but getting it to France will be a logistical nightmare unless you can wait till June and meet me at one of the ferry terminals if I go through France

How much would you take including postage to London ? I have family there, so would be easier than at the ferry. As I said, basically I just need a end exhaust with no silencer, just straight pipes, in SS !

i know its not exactly the proper way to do it but i'd be inclined to just buy a bit of straight pipe and 2 clamp on connectors. Just chop the box off and cut the bit of new pipe to the right size and clamp it on.

This is assuming you have a nice looking tailpipe already.

I get eyeballed by every copper i go past in my cinq, but that has 3 silencers on it lol - they clearly don't so much though

Indeed. I sometimes get followed home by the police in the MR2 (and that's fairly subdued).

Still, I wonder what he's up to, our French comrade.............

Let me explain a bit better : I have a supersprint mani + center pipe at the moment. The center pipe is the model with the little center box. After the center pipe, I have the original sporting end silencer, and let me tell you that the sound is just ****... Well there is NO sound at all. Nearly scared to drive on the highway because of the size of the car and that no one hears me coming :/

I can't modify the center pipe, was expensive to buy, so figured out I could take the original end silencer and modify it by just cut in off the box and put a straight tube in place ?

That will lease one center silencer, and ... That's it !

Can't find a better/cheaper solution

Have you tried running the car without backbox on to see what it sounds like might find you need to put a small straight through silence there

Mine with 4-2-1 ss manni no cat in , no middle section , SS Janspeed cat back , is only 83 dbs , so its not loud at all

Basically have the same setup : SS manifold, no cat, SS center pipe with small silencer and bak original silencer. No sound at all !!!

I'm just looking for the cheaper way to have a better sound, more sporty, and I love the look on people face when they here such a sporty sound out of a little grey car that doesn't look like much ...

Any help would be appreciated.

Just looking to the cheapest way, knowing that I can only touch the back exhaust, not the center pipe or the mani.
