Wanted: Marea console!

Bugger. Bugger, bugger, bugger.

Went to the scrappy today to get a Marea console, saw a Marea parked up outside the scrappy with heavy frontend damage - thought "great, I'll have that". Turned out the car had been sold and was awaiting collection

Went to the next scrapyard and asked if he had a Marea, "yep, got one over the back there." "How much for the centre console?" "Oh, make it a fiver".

Legged it over to the back to find the Marea at the bottom of a pile of 3 cars, no space on the right hand side to get in. Peer thru the window on the left hand side and there's a nice console, but I can't open the door to get to it as the idiot who stacked the cars has the sill of car number 2 resting on the top of the drivers door

Off to scrappy number 3, yep there's a Marea over the back - look thru the window and there is oil all over the console, and anyway it aint got the mirror switches!

So, anyone got a Marea console? Local to Wolverhampton would be good!

Yeah it does look cool.

Is there not a company that can do ones for the bravo console. You take out the rear ashtray of cup holder and put their armrest unit in place.

Maybe I'm imagining this

no mate you are right - but i think they can look a bit out of place - the good thing about the marea console - well my view - is that they look stock which is far better!

There is marea on ebay being broken. I was thinking about having the lights. Dunno if he has the interior.

No where near wolvo tho. You tried Church road motors in wolves? My mate used to work there. They are a salvage yard.

I've sourced one from a guy in Solihull, costing me 30 quid inc p&p with all the bits (gaiters, side panels, pipe and brackets).

Isn't there a scrappy in Halesowen? Seem to recall getting an alternator for a Tipo there a few years back, that might be worth looking into.
