Wait time on new punto?

Hi, I have registered here as im interested in buying a new Grande Punto.

My first car was a Mk 1 Punto and although ive had other makes in the mean time i am thinking of getting another Fiat.

Ive looked through the range and want a T-jet 120 in Exotica red with the 2 tone alloys.

With these being factory options how long would it take for a car to be delivered to the dealer after ordering?

I cant currently test drive anything as im recovering from a serious RTC in my last car, but im keen to take advantage of some of the offers fiat dealers are doing at the moment. My concern is that with another month or so before i can drive properly i might miss out on the best deal!

From my experience in buying New cars, it'll probably take around 12 weeks. It may come sooner though (my 500 took 8 weeks).

Hi am new to forum like yourself and I have just ordered a Grande Punto 1.4 16v GP with cruise control skydome and air/con.They quoted about 5 weeks for delivery and I need a accurate date as I will be using the car for driving instruction.

I would imagine cars in the spec i want would be fairly popular so dealers may have access to them quicker than waiting for one to be built.
