Hi. Another newbie here!
I’ve just fulfilled an ambition in buying one of these fabulous little cars. However, unsurprisingly, it doesn’t have its hard top or soft top for the UK weather. Does anyone know where I might buy either / both hardtop and soft top weather gear, please? And if not, where I might get the soft top and side screens made, please?

Sorry no idea, apart from getting a copy of The Automobile for details of a traditional coach trimmer. I'd imagine Gamine specific parts are very thin on the ground

As an alternative idea, I have an old car with side screens, I removed the folding hood for repair when the frame cracked but don't really miss it.
It were a right faff to put up and didn't keep much of the rain out anyway
What I do find very useful is a tonneau cover. Would be easier to have made, and keeps the interior dry while you go for a walk or have a pie

Hi Colin! Congrats on the purchase, now 'just' add nice weather!!

I've owned my RHD Gamine since 1992 (flew it in from Sydney!) and started www.vignalegamine.net in 1997 to find out about production numbers (impossible). In 2020, with international help, we started the Worldwide Register. Love to add yours too!

Regarding (wet...) wheather gear: don't expect too much from it, as water will come in anyway... But Enrico Rosa of Carrozzeria Rosa in Italy does refabricate the soft top and the metal parts that go with it.
Francesco Campanella, near Lyon/France, refabricated a hardtop from scratch. Impressive. Costly process for sure!!
