you are talking about one person that worked on the car (or probably done at a nearby bodyshop?) not the whole garage..........I had a opened crisp packet (they were stale) the other day,that means the whole tesco' shop gives bad service?

Again you cant condem a whole garage over the actions of one individual.

I think I need to comment on this as it was my car.

It was not just the paint issue it was also the fact that I made at least six telephone calls to then book the car in, they keep promising to ring me back.

There were other issues which I wont go into on here the Manager has dealt with some of them and agreed the service I had from them was very poor to say the least.
He told me they were having a visit from Fiat that day, as stated there are other issues which I will deal with, but its not very satisfactory when dealing with a customers complaint to immediately causing another problem.
To say my car was dirty when I picked it up is an understatement as it is my car I have every right to complain about ther service, and it was not done in a near by body shop it was done on site.
Enough said.

I never said you had no right to complain......I said you cant condem a business through the actions of one (or after this new info has been made available) a few employees.I'm quite sure they (did) have many dedicated employees who do their best for the customer.

There is no such thing as the perfect business that keeps everyone happy,unfortunally yours was one such experience.

I didn't say there was such a thing as a perfect business, but if a customer has a valid complaint in my opinion you try your very best to put it right.

I dealt with more than one person and I don't think they did a lot to keep the customer (me) happy
The manager said he was glad that I haven't (yet) taken my complaint to Fiat UK, as they have contacted me three times, and left messages on my answer phone advising they will contact me again.
I will not go back to them again not even when a service is due I will go to an independent vat registered garage(Yapps) an ex Fiat dealer as Phil uses them and if it satisfies him I am sure it will satisfy most people, and the labour charge is less.

I wonder if you would be saying that if it had been your car and just for the record it is the same staff that used to work in the old Victoria motors franchise ..and they were absolutely clueless ..and that's exactly the words I told the guy that showed June back to here car ..the whole side of the car was filthy after the work had been done ..they couldn't even be bothered to clean one side ofthe car ..so what does that tell you about this company ..you go back because of one complain and they gave you cause to complain again with the state they let the car in ..It hardly inspires you and gives you confidence with these people does it

actually no its not the old VP staff who carry out this work there not body technicians, evans halshaw fiat cardiff get in TST Bodyshop in to do the work and the two technicians who work there have worked for fiat for more than 15 years, annnd its only two technicians from vicky park no one else, i should know cause its me. So if it was you that did the handle on my wife's new stilo ..well maybe you should contact her and do the job again because the job is far from perfect ..she didn't complain because she was that fed up with the whole Evans halshaw experience and being fobbed of by a bunch of numskulls that call the selves customer service

well as i said, we have a comapny called TST in to do all body and paint issues.

Alot of garages sub-contract body work out cause of legislation means its so expensive to have bodyshop on site except for larger garages.

they don't need recommending there the body shop for ferrari, land rover, porsche, bently and aston martin there one of the best round. Im sure there sorry for the bad work carried out.
