Hi guys, just upgraded from my Punto GT to a Coop 20VT which is amazing by the way.

Anyway, I sorted the wiring out behind the stereo and fitted a new unit but when I re-connected the battery a fuse blew and it could be a complete coincidence but it's to do with the sidelight and tail light...

Which brings me to my question - Does anyone know of or have a diagram or picture of the fusebox layout? It doesn't have the cover and I'm still waiting on the disc coming off the 'Bay for the 'user manual'.

I reallise this isn't the most exciting of questions but it makes my Coop look nasty with lights out etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi - is the attached what you need? Good luck with the car, and don't forget those cambelt changes!!

That's perfect mate, thank you.

reallistically i only needed to look for a 10A fuse but this has saved me the needle in the haystack routine.

And yeah, it's in the Garage today getting the belt and pulleys done. First thing i bought next to fuel.

Thanks again!

It is probably not a coincidence. For quite some time I kept blowing the same sidelight fuse. It took ages for me to find the location of my fault as it only appeared to happen whilst driving and of course when the lights were on.

I removed and checked all the lamps and lamp wiring looms but found nothing wrong. Then one day just after replacing the fuse, again, I went to fit the stereo front panel. My lights were on and the fuse blew. I removed the dash centre and found that a dash light cable within the main loom had rubbed against one of the metal cross bars and it was this that was intermittently shorting out.
