I’ve noticed that when I listen to music on a usb stick and switch off the radio and ignition the memory stick keeps flashing . It’s been left overnight plugged in and was wondering would it flatten the battery if left for a few days? I’m assuming the power used would be tiny?

The power cosumption of a USB stick is insignificant compared to other loads on the battery when the car is off. Unless you are leaving the car for two or three weeks I'd not worry about it.I'm suprised it's still flashing though. This normally means it's being accessed and there is no reason for that with the ignition off. What happens if you turn the radio off before switching off the ignition?

I never take mine out and haven't suffered a single battery problem because of it. Should be fine

With radio off the red light on the stick stops flashing but stays lit. Same with ignition. My new memory stick 16gb has no light.
