USB mp3 stick...

after quite a bit of hassle of reading about blue and me and seeing that there is not really any way of getting an ipod to work properly, i am going to buy a usb stick to put my songs on.
i just need some advice of what i actually need to get....
... my dad cab get hold of a 16gb usb stick, but are the normal usb sticks the same as the mp3 ones, meaning will they read all the songs i put on it?
i dont really understand how they work so any info and advice would be much appreciated.

Any USB stick will work but I think Fiat say that 16GB is too big. I use an 8GB sandisk micro cruiser and it works fine.

As long as it's FAT32 it'll be fine. I use a 60GB hard drive (formatted FAT32) and apart from it needing an external power supply (which I get via a power socker-USB adapter) it works fine. Takes a while to index 60GB of songs though

just take notice about the quality because mine doesn't play 320kbs quality
its no big deal you just have to change the vbr to a lower one.enjoy....

Hi, I bought a 16gb pen drive from Scan only last week, formatted it to fat32, installed eco drive with it and it plays all my mp3's with no hassle at all, and most of the mp3's are 320kb rips. It was only around £18 too. Scan.co.uk

il look to get one in the next week or so, got a phone call the other day saying the car might even be ready within the next 4 weeks which would be nice!
