Ok I have a Grande Punto Sporting. Have changed all the speakers for better ones but still not that happy with the sound quality. The reason I haven't changed the head unit over is cause obviously I don't want to loose the Blue and Me. I like it too much. The stearing wheel controls I'm not too bothered about but i used the Bluetooth a lot.

I know previously there hasn't been any solution to this but was wondering are there any head units or adapters that will let me change the head unit while keeping the Blue and Me yet?

Thanks

What type of music do you listen to? Maybe a sub and amp then so that it will take the bass coming from the speakers, which lets face it won't be good, and plays it how it should.

The speakers I have put in are good quality and give decent enough bass however there is just something missing. Having had pioneer units in previous cars the quality of this unit just isn't as good

the standard GP headunit pumps out 4x30 watts, which lets face it is nothing.

Adding even better speakers to it is only going to drain the available power even more.

You either need a headunit with a higher output, or an amp to really feed your speakers.

Ahhh this old chestnut there is a solution through the Can-bus but i dont know if that is just for new HU's also you can attach the speakers to an amp by using the speaker wires as a High Level input (RCA) and converting it to low level to improve the quality. Like this.

The standard HU will always distort before the upgraded speakers so you are on the right track.
I am sorry i cannot definitively give you the best options but i am working on all of them and will be getting guides up. If anybody fancies giving me a hand or wants to upgrade there GP/Bravo and lives anywhere near me then i would love to tag along and take some pics.
