i have to say i've spoken to him a couple of times, always courteous and knowledgeable, advised to go for a late model 1301cc mk1, and from the couple of cars i've seen he has worked on very good work. but price wise, i was shocked at the expense involved, coupled with a parts price list that would make most bank managers cry
there is a guy, charles, runs a garage in north west london, who comes to the italian nights at the ace cafe, he appears to be quite well known among a lot of the fiat owners who turn up, and seems well regarded, i'll try and dig his number out
there is another though, and i only mention him as a warning, based in north london, i've met him once, and didn't have a problem with him, however there are plenty in the uno turbo community who are seriously cheesed off with him, and what they claim is a shockingly low standard of work, check the posts in the turbo collective site on msn
there were also rumours of another firm just to the west of london, who have seriously bodged another uno, when claiming to be masters of it
i make no claim for the accuracy of the above, these are only what i have heard and seen written about, if someone knows better please feel free to put the record straight
